Someone just said all the folks in Israel were fired who ran all the data and deals and customer lists for SYW. Are there people at HE who can take over? How long do we to try and sell this POS to consumers who don't care when it's already been killed by management?

How much do you have to hate someone to get them a SEARS gift card for Christmas?
They put SYW with Financial Services over at corporate. So they got rid of most SYW but gave the left over work to the people doing credit, gift card etc.
I though the back end is on an island off Florida
The back end team is/was in India. Not sure how many are left building on what they consider high end tech.
SI may have run the social/ecommerce syw.com and app platforms, but sales metrics go through the POS system and go into the general accounting database. This has nothing to with tracking sales.
However, no one will be able to measure the "incremental margin driven by points" which somehow always added up to billions of dollars in profit anyway ::eyeroll::
Israel essentially handled planning and development of shopyourway.com creating the Ecommerce and social interaction on the site. That's it. A lot of employees and work for very few site visitors. Classic SHC.
It's like the buildings now that all the QMTs have been fired. The structure is still there, but all the escalators have stopped working, the rats are taking over and you hope a toilet doesn't explode because no one will ever fix it.
We were going to get a Member Service Lead position in our Sears store but were told no because the position is being eliminated company wide. So much for SYW.
You know how well things are run at the typical Kmart? That's SYW. Now fire all those guys, and have the seasonal hires take over with zero training. That's SYW now.
