Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Any assistance for those laid off?

Does Thomson Reuters offer any kind of assistance for those laid off? I'm not talking about severance, but something like work counseling or something similar?

How long are the severance packages typically? Like I'm wondering how long I will have to look for a job.

London use http://www.right.com. Quite good if only to keep you occupied and having somewhere to go while you undertake the process of redefining yourself. Not much fun being so close to TR Building though

I think TR/Refinitiv have done a lot to help those being impacted.

Yes. The severance package includes it. They have a contract with a consulting firm for career counseling and coaching. I haven't contacted them yet, so don't know how good they are - but really, could be very helpful.
