no one is entitled to severance. It's not required by law for even full time employees.

Unfortunately we part timers get zero zilch nada and also may not get unemployment depending on state you live in

I think we should get something as a sign of appreciation but we work at sears/Kmart and I truly think they just don’t care about their employees whether they are part time or full time

When a company can petition the court to give $10 million dollars to a few of their so called top executives while at the same time pulling severances from the front line employees..that just shows the dark heart of the company
