Lots of contractor positions opening. January 2019. Was told Colorado is opening 20 to 30 slots. A few other states the same. I hope they enjoy that piece rate. I'll keep milking the clock.

Approximately 15 of those positions are on one team taking on a bunch of work for voice traffic from Verizon according to my sources.

I am a contractor at CTL and I call BS on this. I work right beside you guys and I have NO BENEFITS from your company and I get $17 measly dollars an hour for service orders and .25 cents a pair if I am splicing. I do have a company truck but my tools, phone and laptop. All I get from CTL is a 3000.
I was offered a job as a contractor, $17hr use my own truck, supply my own tools, I pay for gas and insurance, no benefits - etc. No thanks that plant is in bad shape due to no budget to repair but I see it going to hell in the near future from the low paid contractors.
