Thread regarding Sears layoffs

I feel sorry for anyone who orders sears.com for the holidays

With the big clusterf--k everything's become, zero chance anything gets delivered on time. Well, not like there's anything in stock anyone wants anyway. Playstations, Xboxes, Nintendos, Cameras, iPhones, nothing, profitable companies want nothing to do with Sears. Maybe a DVD set of the complete Rambo collection for Grandpa, but no free shipping because it doesn't meet the $60 minimum.

There was a big freecash promotion that just went out.

You're getting slammed with online orders because of some great unadvertised online sale prices the past several days. Customers who managed to find out about these sales were often excited about Sears for the first time in years. One last hoorah.

We got absolutely slammed yesterday with web orders and when we left last night we had a ton of open orders for today. We were able to fill all orders yesterday and so far have been able to fill all orders today. The vast majority of web orders have been shipping orders and not store pickup. UPS will be busy at our store this afternoon.

My store just got a shipment of Gateway computers that were on back order from May of 2001. I'm going to create a nice display for Christmas.

How about some VHS cassettes from the early 2000s still in their original wrapper in the back room. Should sell fine aside the 4 tube TVs used for loose prevention sitting in dust. Maybe grandpa needs an upgrade to his home entertainment system.

I like to use mine on delicious Smart Sense Grape soda since we no longer carry Coke or Pepsi products. Pop Tarts are also just $1 each, and lots of Smart Sense toilet paper. Don't limit yourself to Sears, there's plenty of low quality junk and overpriced brand name stuff at Kmart too!

I've ordered some stuff from Kmart.com in the past few weeks ($10 freecash every week+free shipping when ordered on a Sears kiosk = me slowly acquiring a set of free Corelle dishes). I've received all my orders fine.

We get orders and we never seem to find it, we substitute the item like they wanted sticks, we give them a shirt close enough. Hahahaha. But yeah do not order from sears.com we never send what you ask for, if we do it's a miracle.

True story. We just got in a shipment of around 100 cases for the iPhone 4. Yes, the iPhone 4. I know they will be a big seller this year.

There's a bunch of ancient iPads still in stock. If you want an iPad 2 or iPad 3, you might be able to order one! Don't be surprised when your order somehow gets delayed until the company shuts down though.

I found $45 of Sears gift cards I hadn't used, figured I'd better get their value before liquidation - I should be set on underwear and socks for the foreseeable future, assuming they send me the right sizes.

To hit $60 I bought a new non-stick pan... and I accidentally earned another $25 in points. Now my wife has another year's worth of gym socks too.
