Looks like I quit at just the right time just over 2 years ago as a QMT.
Being from a union backed QMT group this makes me glad many of our guys took a severance package from this outfit years ago and either retired or moved on .
What a pathetic ending .
My husband did. He was a part of the mms support group. His whole organization got the news yesterday.
It was a lousy way to fire the QMT's getting them on a conference call and let him go. glad I left the company a year ago.
All the QMT’s, a few DFM’s, lots of people in the real estate division. Me, just about made 30 years....

I was fired today. They eliminated the entire facilities organization. 20 years with the company and they give me 4 weeks severance. Better than nothing but I am going to be sad thinking about all of the stores I maintained and how they are basically f---ed and the stores will spend $$$$ for service from an outside company to come in and push a reset button or relight a pilot light.
I don't know the official number, but yeah, lots of us were...
