I see from recent postings that remote monitoring is gone. What about AP? There is no way in he@@ that they would eliminate that depth entirely. Too much exposure to external/internal theft. What about regional AP and zmaps? What the he@@ is happening?

Our AP does nothing anyway so it's real no loss.
With the cuts made to AP, shrink will multiply tenfold, which will send costs through the stratosphere! I'm sure that he BK court administrators would just love to hear that Sears is really trying their best to lose money when they were given a directive to minimize further losses in order to be allowed to continue on in Chapter 11 rather than Chapter 7. What better way to lose money than to cut AP?
Why not make cuts to something we don't need, like I dunno, the music streaming service that is piped in to the stores that nobody likes? The licensing fees for that must cost tens of thousands of dollars year. Or Pebble, which requires its own staff and infrastructure. An internal social media site is unheard of at so many other retailers. Why do we need one? There are lots of other nonessential things to cut. Are they even bothering to look?
Cutting costs is more important than shrink at this point.
Sears has convinced its creditors and the court that it should be given one more chance. With all of these actions, like not staffing and stocking the stores sufficently and doing away with AP, it sure looks like they are just giving up on life! Creditors, take note!
