For those of you in Ann Arbor, what’s been happening there? There’s a thread on Carrollton and the changes there. I’ve worked with several people in Ann Arbor - can we get a status update?

@WanG7rZ-4zfh can think of a couple of people who fit that description and am confused about why one is still employed lol Ann Arbor office became a challenging place to work in, lots of talented people leaving and getting laid off and some wanting to get laid off to get out of the souring culture.....no one respects each others talents or experience anymore there, oh welllll its sad

For an org looking to reduce headcount this is the right time to play you’re hand as long as you are truthful about your complaint
and it is valid about the person or persons that are being unethical

When I get laid off, I am going to spill beans on certain managers there..

I can confirm that product management and support have been cut in Ann Arbor.
The social selling team is history.
Of course, they cut them right after Synergy.
Next on the chopping block is sales and marketing. There is going to be significant layoffs especially for the sales teams.
It’s sad. I can see them having managers fire their team members and then firing the managers afterward.
I've heard as many as 150 total people let go so far in the Ann Arbor office, but of course that's hearsay since these are all unannounced. Most of the Support PLs are gone, as well as the UT renewal staff. (Not like UT renewals are a huge part of our revenue or anything...)
In addition to the actual layoffs, there are a lot of people who have left recently or are in the process of leaving as a result of all of these poorly implemented organizational changes. Morale is terrible, lots of fake smiles and forced cheerfulness in the office, but tears and frustration behind closed doors. Leadership seems clueless as to the impact this is having on staff.
KS lost 15 leaders (managers and product managers), finance lost some people. Overall maybe 40 laid off in Ann Arbor.
Customer service lost 5 people, TC lost 2 managers, product support lost at least 9, and apparently marketing is next. Not all of management was even present for the announcement of people being laid off. Pretty low morale and bad handling by management.

I heard Technical Communications is losing managers, some Product Dev people were let go earlier this week, and I think Customer Service renewal people, have been laid off too. Don't know numbers for each area, but have heard anywhere from a few to a hundred total so far. No announcements, keep in mind, everything is through the grapevine so may not be quite accurate.
Tax Development laid off two people, word was that it was supposed to be four but there were two that had already handed in notice that they were leaving soon.
I know others have been laid off here but have no idea on teams and numbers.
Those kind of cuts just seem mean and petty given what's going on in other offices.
