Thread regarding Sears layoffs

The Sears Marketplace is Over, Sears.com is now an eBay storefront

The catalog that built the company had a large supply chain and logistics organization behind it that Eddie tried to leverage into the Sears marketplace which, like so many other things he tried, was half baked and went nowhere with poor advertising, lousy customer service, and noncompetitive pricing. Until the bankruptcy, there used to be a link on the home page that took you to Ecommerce and Logistics solutions that let Sears take thing on consignment and sell Sears manage, sell, and fulfill your orders, much like Amazon. Now that link just takes you to eBay on Sears, and it looks like the "Sears Marketplace" is now just a subset of highly rated eBay sellers. That's seriously his go-forward plan. Becoming an eBay affiliate.

I notice they changed the link back to Sears Fulfillment Services. Was Fulfillment Services not supposed to know that they're all getting laid off yet?

That enraged customers when they went to .com and they couldn't get the product from our beloved company. We had such great customers who loved to shop with us. Look at sales just a few short years ago. And, from what I have been told Mr. Lampert ran such a Machiavellian type leadership that no one would speak up. Nefarious in a way.
