Because Walmart is a horse sh-- place to work. If employees got ANYTHING extra for working major holidays they would show up and maybe even work a little harder. As it is you've got to be an id--t to show up on these holidays.

Sams has always been closed for major holidays. Use to be closed for all of them. This is in line with the wholesale companies - Costco/BJ - and so it will be. Sam’s opens at 5am in the Friday after
