Milk it or leave. Those are the choices.
I am one of the people running a side biz. When I get mad about the 2% raises I just shake it off and count the 30k I’m making on the side.
Bring on more layoffs or milk. I’m flexible and ready for either.
thats what 2% raises do years in a row while execs charter jets and get double digit raises...

I count my commute time as work listen to music and think on my head set. Helps me recover from torture
80%-90% of Intel employees are pretty much resting and vesting, traveling, running side businesses on company time and dime, etc. Usually protected by nepotism, cronyism, etc.
The remaining 10-20% stupid worker bees do all the actual work.
And this is the pool of people that get targeted for layoffs every few years.
The quicker you accept that this is the reality of Intel, the better off you will be and the less unpleasant surprises you will have.
