Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Integrating Aetna is a complex process that may produce many shifts

For those who are happy that the CVS- Aetna merger has been given the final green light, my advice is to hold the champagne on ice. While this merger is something that could benefit the company long-term, the process of integrating Aetna under the CVS roof will be a complex process that means a big change of concept within CVS itself. My take is that we could expect massive shifts, from store level to managerial positions. It would be practically impossible that a massive merging process like this doesn't produce layoffs. Think it’s gonna be a bumpy road up ahead.

Wait a minute, we have a pbm that for the most part has not affected store level except to increase business. And yes this health care shift will have more impact but not much in the near term i.e. Several years
