Has there ever been a retail company in all of America's history so incompetent that it managed to lose over half a billion dollars in a six week period that included Black Friday? I think Eddie has actually set the bar for greatest failure in history here.

I looked up Bon-Ton, Circuit City, Toys R Us, Radio Shack, Linens & Things, and Sports Authority among others, and nope, no one even comes close. Maybe someone will come along in 30 years, run Walmart or Amazon into the ground and take away Eddie's crown as biggest failure ever.
It is not so much that the company is incompetent, but rather that the executive leadership of the company itself is incompetent....This leadership incompetency is what ruined the company.
