Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Mismanagement and Lies

The only way they kept good employees was by saying they would reward their best. I worked around many very lazy Sears workers that they kept while laying of their most dedicated and hardest working associates as they like to call everyone.

I created a plan that saved over$60 million in product replacements which had grown to $120 million per year. It was the most impactful work done by anyone the company and we got a pizza party while my Director and VP took credit for my plan and my teams execution. Everybody’ got a bonus then I was shown the door by one of the lazy sr directors s---ing air.

I feel for those hardworking associates that are still there and senior executives that are getting golden parachutes can kiss my a-- what a disgrace

Look for a new job regardless this company doesn’t care about you or what you do. My manager actually told me she knew I worked 70-75 hours a week but she couldn’t give a 100% and why should she as Sears didn’t give her a 100%.

That is what you had to overcome to be successful and in the end it didn’t matter.

Hopefully they will liquidate and be done with “in it for me” Eddie Lampert

None of the people making these posts or commenting on them actually have any knowledge of Sears or its people. They’re like the loudmouth id--t at a bar who “knows everything,” who people wish would just stop drinking and STFU.

Under Lampert's rule he kept only yes men and women. Even today sears is bloated with so many vp dvp and what have you. Over one hundred of them. Together theirs annual pays is over $33M and on top of that $18M bonus. Somes even got more pay even though business they ran failed. Only Lampert would keep incapable people so that they would make him feel better.

To the above responder, do you just come to this site to insult people? Most of us read these postings because we do care about the employees. I am sure a lot of us realize we chose poorly, many years ago. You must be one of the lucky ones who chose wisely.
