It isn't right that corporations make billions off of the backs of workers, pay those workers less than living wage, and then screw their severance when it's time to close the doors. Eddie Lampert has cushioned his self while employees who have trudged through thick and thin at store level for 30 plus years receive as little as 4 year's severance. We need to fight for our co-workers who have shed sweat and blood beside us and made Kmart what it once was. I'm looking for anyone who is organizing or wants to organize to demand justice for Sears/Kmart employees. Comment here and we will go from there.

What are you going to demand? From whom? Your company is failing, dear. They've nothing left to give. And (not to be cruel) but as a consumer I cannot think of a reason in the world KMart should still exist in any form, not in a world where I can visit Target and shop Amazon with ease. Target is cool and fun to visit. Walmart is like death, I would never go into one of those horrible stores, and KMart seems like Walmart without the "big." I understand that it is your livelihood and I do respect that, but honestly the idea of rise & demand is silly when the ship is just about sunk.
