Looks like all stores will be done by next week. Liquidation company will take over and almost all staff will be let go immediately.

OP. get real. "almost all staff"...and you expect the doors to close,
and all product in all stores to be packed up and shipped out
to liquidation warehouses...by little bunnies? They will keep as
many sears employees as they need, which will be a lot.

@kwi What a crock. Everyone keeps pushing dates off. We all know, because we read it on this forum, that bankruptcy would be filed 2 years ago.
This "liquidation company" would be ordered out of the stores by the judge since the Sale Hearing isn't scheduled until Feb 1.
