Well, it looks like we have one less Christmas present this year! No Intel Keynote. Looked at the headliner keynotes list for CES 2019 and Intel is not on it at all! Last year, we were the headliner. Now we have nothing! Sad!

Intel will be flying with high colors in 2019.
Intel doesn't have a keynote because it has no visionary products to present. Also, reporters might ask about 10nm products delivery timelines.
Intel is a boring company all about extracting as much out of the sever companies, little innovation in the company, all awaiting the next CEO and an inspired BoD without that intel just spinning its wheels extracting maximum money out of customers just like Apple
@7dia - Actually, Intel had a keynote in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. I didn't look back any further than BK's era, but I'm sure you can. The 2018 keynote was such a dull retread that even if BK were still CEO, he would not be invited back. Other than the MobilEye guy, 2019 doesn't even have Intel as a featured speaker until you dig down into the 1000+ list.
Dr. Su, on the other hand, is AMD's first CEO-CES keynote. Ever.
They don’t pick the same company’s CEO two years in a row to keynote. look back farther than last year.
It's CES, where they want technology CEOs. If it were a Morgan Stanley conference, BS might get the nod.
@itbh- no vision with or without a CEO.
Amazing how far the leader has fallen!
But no CEO means no singular driver for vision and direction for the company. Don’t matter how many PhDs or rockstars you have the, Andy and the BoD need to be fired for failing to get a succession plan or even a backup plan in place
