The current correction/bear turn is a blessing for Ginni. She has at least six months of blaming other factors for her own failure.

97.76 billion market cap!!! We are rapidly approaching Dell/EMC/VMWARE territory. At 12 dollars of free cash flow per share, someone is going to do the math and submit a bid to break this company up and sell the parts for a profit. In the words of the Robot on Lost in space. “danger will Robinson danger”

OK IBM board. We are now below 100 billion. WHEN DO YOU PULL the TRIGGER to stop this death spiral??? You are boarding on being sued by the remaining shareholders. Actions speak. Inaction causes lawsuits

It is said Ginni will retire at end of 2020. I could foresee IBM would be acquired before her retire.

No chance for IBM now, it is dying & incurable.

Yes, I agree the board is absolutely useless... The stock is going to $90 a share before 2Q. 4Q results are going to be the usual, not bad but not showing growth. IBM will spin a message that things won't really improve until the Red Hat purchase is finalized, which leaves IBM another year to show nothing. This is the reason the stock will go under $100. I truly believe that one the stock price goes under $100, IBM can be acquired.

OK. So let me ask the “board”. When are you folks going to start doing your job????

10/2 stock price = 155. Yesterday 111. That’s a 28% loss in approx 70 days. .333% per day. Quite the bleed rare considering you also changed horses on 10/28 with Redhat.

Let’s take a one year look. 170-111 = 59/170 = 35%. Hell of a job IBM board. Hell of a job. It’s takes real talent to allow a company to bleed 1/3 of it’s value.

As I said, “when do you guys actually start to govern”???? Here are a couple of suggestions. Dump Ginni and the Exec management team with zero bonus and zero exit gifts. It would show Wall Street you realize you made a terrible mistake. OH just FYI it’s a mistake that is unrecoverable due to the talent going to the 4 winds. Suggestion 2. Install a care taker CEO and let he / her appoint a new exec management team. You can’t do any worse. Maybe just ask REdhat’s CEO to take the job early. Gets that finding the bathroom / break area out of the way early, and let’s him start on rebuilding the NEW IBM.
