Thread regarding Cenovus Energy layoffs

Ha. Isn't it funny how many Calgarians during the good times forgot who they were working for as long as the money was rolling in? Hint: Massive CORPORATIONS not any different than Wal-Mart who don't give a F about you at the end of the day. I know what you are thinking... but not in Calgary!!!! We are so nice here. For such a conservative, pro-business, anti-union corporate culture downtown, it's fascinating seeing all these naive people finally realize they are nothing but numbered rats racing for cheese. At the end of the day, you are not that important. Truth hurts. Sold a c-appy dream by CORPORATIONS. Go to post secondary after high school, get into debt with student loans, obtain an office job to pay those loans off someday (if you don't have rich parents who have paid your way), indebt yourself further with marriage, kids, mortgage(s), lines of credit, multiple credit cards, trips, cars, etc. Penny pinch, max out savings and investments and then maybe you will get to enjoy the fruits of your labour for your remaining 20 years.
