Thread regarding Riverbed Technology Inc. layoffs

Preferred Stock

Does the company buyback preferred stock after you leave the company? do they pay compound interest year over year or the original purchase price? anyone knows?

preferred stock is the one with annual interest rate not the one worth 9 cents.

1.5b preferred stock compounding at 9%. Might be more that 1.5b after considering acquisitions. What's left for class-B is pennies unless the valuations are really high. lol. Keep dreaming on big exits.

Yes they exercise their repurchase rights at compound interest of around 9% on the class A

Stock is your ownership interest in the company. If you don't want it anymore, you'll need to sell it.
