Do you think they will offer the VSPP package at the end of 2019?
They offered it in 2017 and 2018.

it will not stop people but wait and see , read , stay alert, keep your skills, have a back up plan
If the company does not get enough people to volunteer for the package, they will then start laying off to get their numbers.
They will offer until they need to lay off. The industry we knew is dying. CTL is a new company moving into the future.
That’s what leadership said 3 years ago when they offered VSPP to management. They may not do voluntary but more layoffs are necessary as local exchange business continues to decline. All about the national network. Legacy Qwest, Embarq and CenturyTel is the past.
They will offer it until they have enough union employees gone to break the union.
The rumor is this will be the last year packages are offered.
