Hasbro will then get the company for $10-11. Mattel could have originally received $22. The hubris of the management team and Board is unbelievable. It is unbelievable this incompetent group have been allowed to kill the company.

TRU closing left a big hole. Amazon looking to fill it and with recent news of Amazon looking into producing their own toys..... Game over Mattel. Time to clean up whatever brands have value and sell them to highest bidder. Barbie might have its highest value currently with live action movie in the works. Isn’t parting out of companies what YNOT is good at?
Mattel is losing a quarter billion every quarter, an incompetent mess that indubitably started with the Disney fiasco, which will likely end in bankruptcy or more probably acquisition by the company it lost Disney to. So yes indeed. Wah wah.
Traded as high as $47 in 2013.
Blame Sinclair and his attempt at a coup. He created this mess.
Does the place still have running water or do they have to pump it from a well?
Wah wah. Losers.
Mattel's shares have fallen to below $10 a share, an 20 year low for a company whose stock traded as high as $46 in 1998.
I remember when $17 was bad news...
Mattel is run by arrogant rank amateurs. Case closed.
There have been many problems(losing Disney, no innovation, hiring of RD, bad RD hires, useless board) and only worsened the past few years with the Margo fiasco and now the YNOT mess. The people make the difference and unfortunately we have had many bad leaders.
If you don't understand how the company of Disney princesses, Marvel, and Star Wars was to Mattel, you're too stupid to be in this business
Under $9.50 in afternoon trading 😣
the problem of Mattel management is not willing to listen truly, it’s products lacking consumer insights n innovations.
It’s not because Disney’s Abidjan

The post about Disney is spot on; the Ever After High fiasco was what started this slow death.
Hasbro has lost 20% of it's value in the past 30 something days. MGA should proceed hostile takeover of Mattel at such a discounted price!
Offending Disney and losing that license was the beginning of the end. Toys R Us sealed it.
