@1jvf Would you mind saying what company hired you, if it's a large one? I've seen some employees much older than you at Lowe's, BTW, so that's probably another good place to try, for anyone in a similar situation.
If liquidation came soon after Christmas meant those top crooks didn't get their big bonuses I'm all for it! Wouldn't that mean they didn't meet their metrics so no bonuses?

I was afraid of leaving because of my age, 67, but I got hired and with better pay!! And all my new management team are super nice
So there is hope for the younger crowd to find a new job before too many are laid off looking for jobs too
