Code of Conduct not expected from our “leaders”

At Kennedy last week we had our year end company meeting. It was the most uncomfortable meeting to sit through with them telling us how great these changes will be while we are watching people lose their jobs and knowing for most of the rest of us it’s only a matter of time. Only one executive sitting there seem to care how we felt. You could see it in his face. The rest sat there nodding while Ms spoke and at one point she made a very unprofessional comment about not liking the red headed step child. I don’t know if she has issues with red heads? Step children? But it was disgusting and she should be called out for it. Did she not have to sign a code of conduct? In her “position” she should have known better I would think. Very bad timing to make such a remark when everyone is feeling like an outcast. Did anyone else feel this was wrong?

When I was kid I believed that once enough women were in power we’d have no wars, and money spent on healthcare and education. Also, a puppy in every yard.

Hahaha...I was a very dumb kid.

Wait, you are all telling me that a diverse hire is cut throat, unethical, and ignorant? So thats what the lean in BS means, huh?

And here i thought woman were more empathetic leaders. Well sandbergs 15 minutes are over, maybe this one can join her and marria mayer at the latte shop..

Anyway, she fits right in with the sorry sycophantic group of so called leaders at TR and repukativ

Let me guess who that person was.....

Rita Miotto

She is the biggest snake in the Canadian organization at TR. She basically sold off IT at Kennedy location in Toronto for a 10 dollar voucher at the Eaton Center.

She's been spreading lies and rumors about all types of BS to protect her own image while she slowly disappears into a new position at TR in downtown Toronto.

How someone as incompetent as her managed to stay in such a high position for such a long time baffles me. I guess throwing people under the bus, making immoral decisions and lying all the time really does pay off.

The worst part about the off-colour red-head remark is that it was preceded by "sorry to say this" but then it was said anyway. This indicates she knew it was not appropriate but still went ahead.

Later, it was suggested that the best way to handle all of this is to disconnect from work over the holidays and come back refreshed and ready to go. This is the type of thing we do when things are good, there's got to be a better suggestion for when we've lost great co-workers and fear for our jobs.

I don't think that for the rest of us it's a matter of time. Sure, there will be more cuts but I don't see the Canadian operation getting too much smaller. If I'm wrong, good riddance.

The Code of Conduct does not apply to Directors. My director told us last week not to engage in gossip.

This person has shared medical diagnoses, family situations, and other deeply personal info about people she hates to the inner circle.
