The shares, in spite of a few spikes, have steadily decreased over the last 10 years.....go do the math.

Are you new to the industry ? HAL has always beaten SLB and SLB always mimics what HAL does. Wake up and smell the oil. Just because SLB is larger doesn't make it better. In fact, SLB has over complicated every possible process of the industry. Sales are normally just some rebranding snake oil to pitch to customers. The numbers tell the story of who the real #1 is.

Since when HAL is the uncontested leader of the oilfield service world?

Hopefully share price goes up a bit so slb does not cut dividend and that id--t who says time to buy slb shares keeps his id--t mouth shut.

Whatever HAL does, so will SLB. History repeats itself.

Layoffs are planned & executed by grade 14 and above. So think yourself what will happen to grade 9 and below

Lots of factors involved in termination, not necessarily grade.

If you are not making 💰 you should be worried, regardless of grade.

Also remember if grade is higher, expectations are higher too.

Generally seniority isn't a good thing in current situation.
