Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

People are offered buyouts, but no changes in the number of supervisors and managers

The company is offering buyouts which ultimately eliminates the older workers.

We all can honestly see that there is not enough work for the work force we have, but We still have contract labor in the workforce? why? in job functions that don't have enough work.

Whats going on that we have had a series of buyouts for people to leave the company, but no change in the amount of supervisors or mgrs that we have.

Why are there openings in places that they are having these buyouts??

Some valid questions by @WEyge39-ezb . This deserved to be reposted if you ask me.

We have had a manager over 2 Techs for the last few years, Why? I guess it's not who you know it's who you ____!

Management will follow after they determine who accepted and where.

The question was why hasn't supervisors been eliminated? Supervisors over techs to be exact.

If your costs exceed your revenues you eventually go bankrupt. Therefore target higher costs for elimination. Was that so hard?
