you are the new leaders of the new lean machine , run and micromanage the few national ops techs to the ground. tell them exactly how long it should take to deliver , install , test , turn up , qualify, 100 gig channel switch systems, Chromatic dispersion , polarization mode, Fiber optic characterization , cone of acceptance , end to end Dbm loss , IP protocol, mapping , redline OPS 131, or Kick those lazy over qualified ,overworked Field ops tech to the Curb ! YEAH ! bonus my eye !

Guessing you are a fellow field ops tech. They must run things differently in your part of the country. I always marvel at how much time i get to do installs. As in way too much. I never get pushed or micromanaged but they want it done when they want it done, that is for sure, no excuses. I think field ops is the safest tech job there is right now.

They are actually selling stuff and are putting money in fiber.
