What if all the company's that SLB bought were left alone to operate profitably like they were, and use all the money spent on moves and transformation, spend it on new machines and technology. How great would it have been, and what would the stock price be today??

SLB has destroyed MI Swaco and Sweco.
What if all the employees in the companies that SLB bought, had to spend all their time taking QUEST tests?
SLB don’t know how to run the companies they acquired especially Smith and this is fact shown huge market share losses
This is compounded by laying off the experienced managers who knew how to run this companies. Talk about self inflicted damage
If they had left them alone they would be in better state today no doubt
man. that's what the transformation will bring. technology. software, automation... less people... more profit. PK and his cronies are not stupid, they know where the company will be in a few years (if it/they survives the downturn).
Its the way that they have carried out the cuts that get me. Completely destroyed moral and trust in anyone. I came from an acquired company that SLB have utterly destroyed. I hate what they did to it.
Of course, for success... things like ROF need to actually work and give cost/performance improvements to the industry. I wouldn't be sure they will having seen the shortcuts taken in product lines just to get new technology 'commercialised'.
