I think there must be a misunderstanding somewhere.. I meant this skill is important for both countries to interact. Latin America does not deal only with Latin American people which would mean you would be stereotyping people by considering Latins don’t interact with Americans as well as Japanese are skilled people and some have better communication skills so not all have “difficulty” communicating as you indicate. I just consider it is a key skill to be able to address both countries regarding issues development and employees. Remember we don’t onky speak Spanish down here either. Thank you for your point of view.
Adequate English skills would suffice then, eh? Some great guys in Japan and LatAm making the rain don't have the best English skills, but they're probably worth far more to the company than the resident racists on this board.
Read and keep up with new market tendencies and mainly communicate with company officials to deliver the actual performance plans and visions. Interactions are required my friend to work well amongst all. Specially communicating your actions and results. It is a must in all companies nowadays.
Enough level to communicate projects, and interact with company goals.
Why would good English skills be a requirement in LatAm?
Good English skills to communicate should be a must to.. management should be required a high level of communication skills as well. Eventually I believe, all things come to light.
Please hire people knowledgeable enough to manage properly with legal procedures that involve this country and the US. As well as people that like to know the company well enough to improve internal procedures and guarantee better work environments that can optimize company performance instead of just getting rid of people that went against their lack of profesional performance that affects directly no one else but the company and employees. Xerox is a great company but with poor management that is taking decisions over people that were worthy of their jobs for over 30 years and are being let go by people with such like of integrity that it is a shame it hasn’t gotten up to them, what the actual truth is about their performance is and how their decisions are just based on how they feel about a person instead of their commitment and performance as employees. That can tell u a lot about their “unethical” practices.
I mean HR Management needs to be investigated along with their team. Not sure what results they have pulled through to deliver. It is just sad to see how people that have been truly committed to the company get laid off week after week especially at Rochester and Webster. I really hope officials get to these people that require to be let go instead.
Cheap infrastructure, taxes, and labor?
