Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Liquidation

It's coming sooner than you think. Freight coming in the back door like there is no tomorrow. Sure looks like Armageddon.

Corporate often donates those items to charities in form of a whatever. Target does it.

Often see personal pharmacy items at those thrifts, especially latex prophylactic items.

Donʻt think Fast Eddie would need them, heʻs been going raw on the company for a long time.

@1ytj-- except most of the expired food and meds are Smart Sense brand. Had some cookies come in a week ago that expired in 2017.

Was the talk today.Eddie knows it won't go his way. Flowing excess into stores for a final liquidation.

The problem of expired products being shipped to stores is an oversight and is due to some new vendors we are working with.

That won't fly in a products liability suit. It's called joint and several liability. Better get it taken care of before OSHA or a health inspector gets the store shut down

Who is going to buy anything now that they stopped issuing freecash, coupons, and sweep points?

@nro They are emptying out the warehouses. Five-year-old tires and expired food/meds have been showing up.

you would think that more warehouses would be shutting down with all this freight or are suppliers ramping up with Sears fantastical turn a round.

Funny how all the shills have gone silent lately. They must have gotten laid off.

Yes I would say this is true. Massive Christmas freight coming in now. All of Christmas should be done now. Odd but can see the writing on the wall. Fat lady is getting ready to sing.
