Thread regarding Seagate Technology Inc. layoffs

Whatever happened to the Oklahoma City location?

I drive by it daily and thought it was closing months ago (after the service desk and others in IT were laid off). There looks like a few people are still working there.

Stop looking when you drive by! It's like looking at a wreck on the highway between a Lamborghini and a Maserati - Maximum performance, until it was trashed and destroyed.

Oklahoma City has a few dozen or so people still in the building, so it's nearly empty. Only random people remain. Some security, facilities (they are still working on the building... like they think they can sell it -lol) and a few odds and ends people that they kept when IT was axed. Cafe is closed - Everything is closed except one small office area. It's a big - EMPTY - quiet, lonely place. If anybody wants to buy a, huge, empty manufacturing building with the cheapest electric power in the world and a ton of land and space to grow - and an insanely low cost of living, you can get it for pennies on the dollar...
