Good luck to all who were impacted by the recent layoffs. While this definitely a hardship many people don’t want to experience, one point of emphasis I learned was to keep your confidence high. Don’t let this layoff define you! You are in charge of your success.
If at all possible take some time to decompress and leave the SHC nonsense behind you. Know that if you are continually looking to get back into the work force, you will find something. Stay vigilant and use this experience as a learning point in your life and grow from it. We all liked the people we worked with but disliked the way the corporation was run.
To those still with SHC, please keep your own fate in your hands. I don’t know where the corporation will be in the next months, but I certainly don’t wish this fate upon anyone else.
