Lance Crosby was a stud, should have been running the IBM by now. Instead Ginni put an old guard executive in charge of cloud, forget Robert LeBlanc maybe, so Lance left. I am sure GR told Lance the same thing, I vomit in my mouth whenever I see GR's picture on-line.
Poor Redhat employees will find the same fate as all other IBM acquisitions, regardless of executive lip service. Look at the history of all other IBM acquisitions. Why would this be any different?

They'd better hope they're completely distinct. Just look at the benefits this year: completely eliminated any coverage for out of network medical charges (they used to pay at least the in-network rate). And to get your HSA payment you and your spouse, and separately, have to use the c-appy cafewell site, and waste time being treated like you're an id--t.
The cost cutting is pervasive. Expect layoffs across the company, a complete lack of investment in products, and a whole lot of lip service and pandering being paid to 'caring' about employees. The only thing this company cares about is how much money they can save by slowly boiling the employee and customer frogs to death.
