Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Remote Monitoring gone

Team got the axe today. Unfortunate that management was too inept to use them properly... Could have been so much more.

Impacted associates received some severance...

All they did was watch for employees stealing and not the real shoplifters. Good riddance.

They called stores when they had a ladder blocking an exit or to thank an associate for looking inside a suit case. They had zero impact on the stores’ bottom line. How many employees did they catch stealing? Oh wait..they didn’t. Biggest profit improvement was cutting that team!

Remote Monitoring uses CCTV to monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational controls that support safety, theft deterrence and identification, reduced shrink, and optimized profits.

Operations include those pertaining to Store Audits, Impression of Control, and Store APP Hotline Calls
