Do we know? And is it continuing today?

I don't know how many people work in Rochester, but it's certainly more than 300. I work in the Eagan office and we were told today that the "five locations" thing is for technology operations only. Other offices for Reuters, content ops, editorial, etc., are remaining open. As for deadlines, Rochester technology will be gone by Q1, Rochester content ops will be gone by Q2, and Rochester editorial ops will be gone by Q3. After that, the building will be empty and either shuttered or sold.
Some manager positions hit in Eagan today.
hearing a wave will hit management today or tomorrow not sure if org wide or specific locals but it doesnt sound like they know its coming
What about Baar, Hobboken, New York, London, São Paulo? When are those locations being shut down? Sounds like only 5 locations is a stretch. TR just bought a company in North Carolina. That out too? Seems fake.
Rochester is about 500 workers. Layoffs begin in 90 days and extend into spring of next year. Many won't depart until late March 2019. They have put the office space up for sale. The layoffs are staggered because of the many thousands of workers about to be laid off nationwide as the company consolidates around just five locations - Eagan is slimmed down, Toronto is a growth center, plus Dallas, Ann Arbor, Mich., and Bangalore, India. Every other office is closing down. There will be some workers temporarily working from home but the writing is on the wall for them too. If you aren't in one of those five cities, your job is ending.
But they just told me today is World Kindness Day.
any news on timeframe for rochester?
