What could be the final number of stores they are aiming for with this many closings?

Supposedly Eddie wants to buy 300, 400, or 500 stores. If 500, that would mean basically no more closures announced until after the purchase (mid-December or later), which seems unlikely.
Oh, yes...
If Eddie could make money by having the number of stores go to a negative number, have no fear that he would definitely do that.
And SHC VPs would be prancing around stating that having negative quantities of stores is only the next step in our transformation and that we are not team players if we state in any shape or form that this is impossible.
This was Eddie's plan all along, was in it for the Real Estate and anything he could sell out of Sears.
