I predict more along the lines of demotions than layoffs. I can see certain jobs in certain locations with higher pay being done away with and relocated somewhere else on the grounds but for less pay. Then the decision will be to either go work there or hit the street. Those who leave will basically be laying themselves off for good. They will find somebody else who's willing to work that position. The ride was fun while it lasted!!

Schenectady will not be closing the ceo and vps continue to show interest in the site. Say what you want about Stan but that whole agreement was meant to do more with less people. If you think schenectady is so bad you can leave at anytime make room for people who want to be here.
Moving people around doesn't remove the cost of the employees benefits from the equation, which by some accounts is half of their compensation. I dont see this as an option, but do hope its what they do. We'll see.....
