And sorry. Just to be clear. Its the Village of Hoffman Estates Board. Not the SHC board. Didn't want anybody thinking that.
But But But. SHC is going to put a "Shop Your Way" Lounge in the arena. The naming rights agreement is to allow SHC to put MORE signage around the interior for the same annual fee.
When the next truck rodeo shows up, you will see alot more attendance because of this! Just you watch and see!
a naming rights agreement is for a sports field, arena, music center, part of a symphony hall etc....... An example is Deer Creek Music center in Noblesville Illinois. If you ask anyone who go there year after year to see the Grateful Dead , they will still call it Deer Creek. The name two years ago was Klipsch Music Center and this year it is The Ruoff Home Mortgage Center . Much like the Rosemont Horizon, It is now the Allstate Center. From prior experience , this type of advertising is a complete waste of money because no one is going to buy stuff from Sears because they go to sportsball or a concert at the Sears Center
