It’s a bit u professional to say specific names.. at least use initials and department
IT is awesome. Access to all sorts of information. People say some of the dumbest things in their emails.
non-critical means easily farmed out, which IT is. IT has been the most wasteful department for the past decade. I feel for the individuals, but they've done it to themselves.
It goes like this: infrastructure planning first in terms of criticality. It’s a little known group full of s-xy superstars. Then comes IT, the unsung heroes/badasses of the information superhighway. Boldly going where every company goes, all the time! Lastly we have operations. Someone has to actually generate revenue
IT not non-critical? It’s always amusing to learn how the workers’ opinions differ so radically from the facts known by those in charge.
It needs to be labeled as non-critical before it can be outsourced.
