Wanted to hear from ex Intel chip and TMG types, which other chip company you joined since leaving Intel and how is it going. Like better job or worse job, satisfaction wise, pay wise etc.

Joined an equipment vendor. Orders of magnitude better management. Projects are prioritized and not a political minefield like PTD. Also I get to work with various RnD teams at various customers across Asia, Europe and North America- PTD culture is clearly toxic and unlike any other company.
Nvidia, kicking Intel azz and taking names in AI.

OP here. Thanks for the replies. Good to know you all doing better mostly. I also work at another chip company doing similar work. Pay is similar, stress is non existent, family life and health far superior. So overall happy with the move. This is the only move I have ever made. Also wish Intel well since I still own ton of stock!
intel pay is so awful they just did a market adjustment but its only 5-10% so only the mo--ns are staying lol
Google with 2x salary
Went to Amazon. Yes, Amazon is doing chips. Pay doubled. Much more fast-paced. Learning a ton. Intel talks about “move fast”, “startup mentality”, but Intel doesn’t really know what that mean.
I went Galt. After nearly 30 years in corporate America said the hell with it. Went to a small outfit completely outside of tech. Happier than a pig in sh--.
Small start up -- name not important. Vastly better environment. Better pay as well. Stress level dropped exponentially. Wish I'd left Intel sooner in hindsight. I also work with a bunch of ex-Intel folks and they say they are much happier as well.
