Same ole same ole. Beat by a penny or two. Until IBM decides what it wants to be, the slow financial manipulation will continue. STrategic initiatives will grow to 49% of sales, with Legacy, shrinking by approx the same. We have now seen this movie 5-6 times Until someone wants to stand up and lead this company, we all know where the results will land. The board has abdicated their responsibility to lead/guide IBM, and have outsourced it to a CEO who gets paid to continue the financial games. Microsoft had the same game plan under balmer , and stagnated just like IBM. Then the board acted, and look where they are now. Sooner or later, someone will decide that IBM has to change/innovate again, and when they do, then things will change. Other wise same ole same ole
