I can’t say the sale of the Medicare business came as a big surprise, as Aetna is obviously clearing the ground for CVS’s takeover. I get that both Aetna’s and CVS’s management have some sort of vision of what the company is going to look like after the merge, and they plan to get rid of every segment that doesn't fit into that vision, especially because the Medicare business was overleaping. If only we were talking about just numbers, but not actual jobs at stake. Does anyone know how many people will be impacted by this?
