If anything is left A&E will be sold off with the rest of the assets. It is a gamble to think that whoever buys them will keep everyone. More than likely they will keep some of the executives to handle the transition and maybe a few of the techs but will probably layoff everyone and have them reapply to get their job back.

If you're skilled get another job.

If you are part of Sears Holdings you will be laid off. To be saved they have to sell sell Sears Home Services because A&E is not a separate business entity it is only a different name "doing business as" so competitors do not see a "Sears vehicle".

Read online reviews of your company. I’m sure you do a good job but your average coworker doesn’t. Your company will be sent to the sc-ap heap as well.

Don't quote me on it, but A&E may be one of the few things that survives Sears. However, it might be sold off--hopefully not to Eddie.

I'm surprised they haven't talked about selling off A&E yet, it might be just as big as Kenmore because if I remember correctly, don't you all do in-warranty repair services for other retailers as well, like Lowe's and Home Depot?
