Redundancy timetable is country dependant.
The last chance to get laid off is tomorrow, right?
Yes, J is Director level. K is Executive. There are then various sub bands within the GRF relating to pay, options, benefits etc.
I am a J band and have not been let go...yet. No one is safe. The clock is ticking on all of ExCom, I can assure you. If there is no performance heads will roll at the highest levels.
Role banding does not currently seem to have a direct correlation with severity of risk.
I know of a number of people let go at each of the GRF levels.
The more senior people know sooner because they are impacted by the higher level org announcements. Then it goes down from there to location announcements covering all levels.
where does this news put you on the mood elevator? Hopeful? Concerned?
your manager can tell you. from what I know J band is usually director level.
What are J bands? I assume it your level within the company. How can you tell what “band” you are?
seemed to correlate with the rumor I heard, that J bands are at high risks of being let go first..
