Really? @VmopRF7-ctss Final Salary pensions still? They took former UK ES staff final salary pension away within 8 months of becoming DXC despite it being fully funded for 3 years.
We were told it was "alignment" so I can't believe DXC would lie or that former CSC staff get extra benefits because that never happens ...
Still a few of us left in the UK with large redundancy payouts and final salary pensions - i`m not going anywhere until i bag both!
If I could see the things correctly, DXC technology's future is very dark. Those talented resources still sticking to it, should look for an opportunity outside DXC as quickly as possible.

The thing I hate is we don't find out till an email comes back saying the email adress doesnt exist or in Skype when the name is changed to garage

@VmopRF7-7zqi can understand your frustration with the current environment... don't shoot the messenger... after all the news that has come up in this forum and all things happening in dxc, have faith... that S does hit the fan as stated here... just don't have a label on that S ahead of time !
When you say Delivery build , what BUILD teams are you talking about ? SPEAK UP or STOP POSTING BULL Sh-- that you can't back up.
Certain Build teams will have mass reductions, with DIGITAL because we don't build anything. Why build a VMware / Cloud offering if our direction is changing to a pure consulting company for AWS, Azure and other products from other companies.
We haven’t sacked AWS or MS Azure people. Just old infrastructure and platform support folks
You can't change to a pure consulting company because you just sacked all those with the skills / knowledge who could have done that. All you will have left will be the packers on the shop floor of amazon.

Massive Reductions in Delivery forIndia. WFR method is simple. If you're are Rated 1 but still have a higher salary.You are gone.This lists are being prepared.
Americas delivery has a significant target as well. Expected to save 100M in remaining part of the year, which means 200M annual spend. Overall delivery is about 750M reduction. 600-700 FTEs to be let go in Build in the quarter. Target date was Oct 1-10. With delays, target increases. They should just fire every second person in the company and save everyone the headache.
My manager just called us (his 12 leads) in and covered our delivery reduction goal, which is a subset but a significant one for our industry. We have till Thursday to provide names and IDs.
AGIAN NO DETAILS of what country, division or area, this SITE is ALMOST a useless. If you were WFR'ed then state some details. Some CDM's were let go in the US , but don't know any other people that were let go
The grass is much greener on the other side. Though any small patch of grass will look much better than DXC's dead and scorched earth.

In 2017 I received a call followed up by a letter saying that my position had been eliminated. Whilst that was total bollucks I was able to escape from the sh1thole, Mikey picked up a bonus for my WFR, I picked up a 40% raise in pay, and the 2 poor sods (aka graduates) that took on my work could not cope with my 120% workload. The end result was me 3 to them 2. I will never ever work for DXC or any of their FUBAR companies.
OK well since "your position was eliminated", then you can tell us where and what area that position was, hell they can't fire you twice

Nothing has changed - CSC at Aon in November of 2005 - phone call. All of you have done a superb job in meeting our numbers. Anyone on this call has one month and will be dismissed December 5, 2005. (Merry Christmas). Hell, some of us were World Trade Center survivors and damn near DIED for Aon.
There is a BETTER life outside of this POShit firm. Get out when you can.

As disappointing and angry as you may be at the moment... it is a blessing!
The world out there is not so bad and there are employers that treat you with respect!

Advise to everyone still employed by DXC... get out there and explore the market. it is much more easier and rewarding to job hunt without financial pressure
