Aig is writing less and less WC business. It's been happening for at least a year and a half now. It's not profitable so they won't write it
The WC work load has steadily diminished over the last year or more less mail received must either be less workers being hurt claiming injuries or loss of clientele maybe a mixture of both how long can this go on before the bottom drops out i.e., steeper WC cuts or loss of WC line of business - any one have any insight regarding this subject & assessment
It is unfortunate that they will not give everyone a heads up like they did the CA pool years ago, I understand they knew months in advance they would be dissolved giving them time to prepare
There is supposed to be more layoffs in 4th qtr and 1st qtr 2019. If there aren't a lot of renewals or new business there will be more lay offs definitely in WC.
Layoffs. They have already started in work comp. Adjusters will be handling more claims with less support.
