I'm not sure what this means. The supervisor position posted two days later doesn't have that in the job title.
Banker & Tradesman article called "Sears Unloads Cambridgeside Store for 55 Million" dated Aug 25, 2017. Author is Steve Adams.
There is a pdf that avoids the pay wall which mentions the leaseback continuing thru Sept 2019. Guess that's not working out so well.
Employment is on Sears careers.com, indeed and glass door with store closing in the title.
What's your evidence on this?
The building where Sears is in Cambridge was sold about a year and 1/2 ago for an astronomical amount of money so I am not surprised. Actually a smart move in this instance for SHC since that area has changed to where a Sears doesn't fit in but the property is very valuable. That was an exceptionally sad Sears. Out of place in that market.
People are always asking if Sears is closing. The answer is becoming YES for eastern Mass.
Sears Auto Center in Saugus, MA is going to become a Long Horn Steakhouse.
Reading down it looks like there is a new wave of closings that aren't on a list given to the press. WV and OH stores linked with news stories. There are probably more but not everyone working for Sears posts here Obviously.
