TCS wins large outsourcing contract from Thomson Reuters

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has won an around Rs 500-crore contract, which involves infrastructure management services and application development, from mass media and information company Thomson Reuters.

"And modern democrats"?? Are you kidding? Large corporations are by far the largest beneficiaries of the Republican brand of capitalism -- and, as you know, the only ones at the corporation who benefit are those at the very top.

Workers rights? Yeah....Germany, France, Sweden, etc... Definitely not in the US. Who's fault is that. Google "union busting".

500 cr ie 75 milliom USD is good enough for an Indian IT firm to come in and wipe out all major tech teams in TR - few thousands easily - perhaps with the only exception of Eikon / prod development which requires specialist know how.

All the regional tech teams, infra mgmt, TAMs backend teams especially based in high cost centres are under immediate threat I'd imagine. GOOD LUCK!
