Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Layoffs elsewhere, Masterson, Legal and Tax

"Neil has been solely focused on getting capital distributions for the Thomson family. This is the final stage of dismantling the company for them and leaving only the news organization behind."

In response this post earlier, he's in the business of transformation or cutting headcount and likely called the shots with F you will be in the same boat as F&R soon enough, wondering about your role so start looking elsewhere.

Hiring or keeping the same pawns is a vintage move of a low performing business.

There was an announcement a few months back to bring in a VP who was in charge of transformation throughout Asia locations. Sadly enough, he is a head unit in the new legal and tax org. So ding ding and he must be a friend of neil. Don't trust transformation people

It looks like my entire post got cut in half. What lol?! Anyway, when you have a transformation guy like masterson, expect layoffs. Legal and Tax are being combined with NM as co-COO and they announced new roles per the Hub. Those roles will be same incompetent VP/MD who will bring along their incompetent friends to be under them. They'll recycle and repeat upbeat messages about growth, opportunity, and the excitement that lies ahead. Trust me they have no ideas and will constantly speak of transparency.

Look at the heads of units of your new org chart. They will be transformation people or worked around the world (pretty much the same thing). Always remember that chief transformation offer is a code for chief layoffs officer.
