In all this fuss I managed to miss what finally happened to Eddie buying Kenmore.
Is that still happening? Canceled? Remaining in limbo indefinitely?
I'm still failing the see the point of that move, but I guess I'm curious enough about how it's playing out.
Eddie doesn't wanted it anymore. Pension gate keeper ruined his looting party.
Maybe Eddie surveyed average Americans sentiments on the brand and realized $400 was a more appropriate bid than $400M

my understanding is that it is up for a board vote. PBGC only gets part of the cash, not all of it.

As the person above me said it seems Eddie isn't interesting at all since he doesn't benefit from this in the way he wanted to. I assume if the sale went through would pump some money for the company (and even get some money back in his pocket), but since PBGC got involved Eddie doesn't benefit (and the scumbag that he is doesn't care about the pension people as always its always about Eddie).
PBGC said if it happens they get the cash. Eddie's no longer interested.
